Son bacterias que se alojan mayoritariamente en el tracto digestivo. Cuando nuestra microbiota es normal y est\u00e1 en buen quilibro se le denomina eubiosis.\\n\\nLa relaci\u00f3n del sistema nervioso con el intestino es bidireccional, por eso se habla de eje intestino-cerebro. El cual se comunica a nivel end\u00f3crino, inmunol\u00f3gico y neural. El nervio vago es una especie de carretera que conecta el intestino con el cerebro. Da cuenta de esta comunicaci\u00f3n bidireccional el hambre y la saciedad, ante lo cual nuestro organismo reacciona.\\n\\nLa microbiota cambia a lo largo de la vida y tambi\u00e9n durante diversos &#8216;momentos&#8217; o circunstancias. Difiere seg\u00fan el \u00f3rgano en que se encuentra, dentro del tracto digestivo.\\n\\nDada la unicidad mente-cuerpo, la microbiota se ve influida por nuestros h\u00e1bitos: alimentaci\u00f3n, sue\u00f1o, ejercicio, consumo de antibi\u00f3ticos, sustancias, entre otras. Tambi\u00e9n influyen las condiciones del medio, as\u00ed como las relaciones con otros y uno mismo. Dada la unicidad mente-cuerpo, pensamientos y emociones, desempe\u00f1an un papel importante.\\n\\nExisten evidencias que la disbiosis -alteraciones en la diversidad o equilibrio de la microbiota- est\u00e1 implicada en: la ansiedad, el estr\u00e9s, la depresi\u00f3n y hasta disfunciones en la memoria. Hace parte en el colon irritable, el autismo, el Alzheimer y el Parkinson. As\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 presente en otras enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas y degenerativas. Enfermedades digestivas, alteraciones en la permeabilidad intestinal y neuroinflamaci\u00f3n, son tambi\u00e9n consecuencias del desequilibrio de la flora intestinal (microbiota).\\n\\nEst\u00e1 demostrado que el sedentarismo favorece la disbiosis. Diversos estudios dan cuenta que hacer ejercicio moderado por al menos 120 minutos por semana, al menos tres veces a la semana, reduce el riesgo de enfermedades cr\u00f3nicas. El ejercicio tiene un efecto directo en la salud intestinal.\\n\\nG\u00f3mez-Egu\u00edlaz, Ram\u00f3n-Trapero, P\u00e9rez Mart\u00ednez y Platero, llevaron adelante un estudio con interesantes revelaciones en pacientes con epilepsia. Durante tres meses le administraron probi\u00f3ticos (para enriquecer y equilibrar la flora intestinal). El tratamiento redujo en un 50% o m\u00e1s, las crisis que sufr\u00edan los participantes.\\n\\nAntes del diagn\u00f3stico de las enfermedades asociadas a la disbiosis, aparecen s\u00edntomas.
